Hi,

You should sit down and talk to your Mom maturely. Have a list of reasons why you want to date, and make sure to convince her that your academics won’t suffer more than anything else. Then tell her why she should let you. Have a mature discussion.

It depends how old you are. Sit down and talk things out with your mom, explain why you want to, and make rational points. If she still says no, don’t yell, or scream, or sulk. That’ll show her you are mature and responsible, and who knows, maybe she’ll relent. If she doesn’t, be prepared to wait it out.
