How can I get my mom to let me see my boyfriend?
I have been with my boyfriend for over a year and my mom and him dont see eye to eye they havent liked eachother for a while now and shes trying to put a temperary protection order on him. How can I get her to understand how I feel and let me see him. Im 17 and only have 7 1/2 months left at home and he said hed wait as long as it takes but I want her to understand now before its to late and it ruins my relationship with my mom even more!!
my mom was just like that with me at your age I told her I didnt care what see thought about him.. she got really pissed at this but then I asked her if her parents likes my father and she said no .. dont get me wrong me and my mom have a great relationship even tho I moved out when I was 17 1/2 but she understood where I was coming from she told me why she didnt like him and it was just because she thought he was taking me away from her…now im 19 and getting married with him and my mom is going to there so just talk to her and it should be all right …

my opinion is dont let her tell you who to date its your choice your 17 now she needs to let go!
