Hip exercises

What are some hip exercises? I have an hour glass figure, but it’s too curvy. Don’t tell me to run because I loose fat in my stomach when I do that. My stomachs flat. All of my fat goes to my hips and thighs. Ugh =/

Answer #1

You can’t specifically choose where you gain or lose weight (despite what fad diets and some exercise machines claim). Your best bet is to work at specifically toning the muscle areas where you want to see a reduced size, but even that is not guaranteed to type of body you were born with.

Answer #2

dancing helps a lot.

I started doing belly dance and hip hop afew years ago and it toned my hips and legs really well.

also swimming really helps with lower body work outs.

Answer #3

Try cycling at high intensity speeds and go until your legs start to feel the burn. Swimming when holding a board and kicking (doing laps) also works the lower body. Using a rowing machine is also a surprising one to work the legs, not just the arms. You can run still, but try running up hills rather than a flat surface, as it works your lower body harder.
