Do you think High-fructose corn syrup plays a big role in US obesity?

Answer #1

To much fast food around if u ask me, and to much tv and no exercise, those r the main ones I think

Answer #2

I think it has to do a lot more with people rather than the ingredients. Anything will cause you to gain weight if not eaten in moderation. You can eat 20apples a day & gain weight. I think people have no self control when it comes to food & they just pig out without exercising. You cant expect to eat like a donkey & look like an ant :)

Answer #3

Yes I agree, but I grew up with if it taste good spit it out. I have study that the body digest and absorbs High-fructose corn syrup much easier then natural sugars. Plus this sweetener makes you want to eat more, it actually makes you hungrier, and I would like to see if there is more info to support or defend this view.

Answer #4

Answer #6

Very true, it has a lot to do with self control, but I know I could not sit down and eat 20 apples in a sitting, but there are candies with a lot more sugar in it but much easier to consume in high volumes. Plus It I think 20 apples would help clean your body out.
