Healthy food

My parents are on a health craze and they make lentil soup that smells bad. I tell them I dont like it so they said to come up with another recipe.Anyone know something that is healthy and tastes good.

if you want a lentil recipe, I say you cut 75% of the lentils out and replace them Garbonzo beans / Chick peas. get some (lots) of onion and some Tomato, sliced in rounds and into halves … spray the pot with non stick frying spray and let the onions/ tomato, laury’s salt, garlic salt, garbonzos, and let them saute’… when your done, add a bit pof lentils for contrastimg tams

Tofu Stir fry.

All you do is prepare the tofu: Take a block of firm,raw tofu, and slice it into 1/4 inch thick square slices. Place the tofu on a plate, and on top a paper towel. Place another plate on top of that, and then something that weighs ten pounds. Let that sit for ten minutes.

After that slice the tofu into smaller cubes, and fry them up in vegetable oil for five minutes. Set that aside.

Next you gather bamboo shoots, snow peas, mushrooms, bok choi,sprouts , soy sauce, sesame seed oil, and rice. Begin boiling water for the rice. Next you want to chop your mushrooms into four equal pieces. Chop up your bok choi into several pieces as well. Your bamboo shoots should come from a can, so all you have to do is drain the water. In a sauce pan(or a wok if you have one) put your sesame seed oil. Let it heat up for about two minutes and then toss in your peas, mushrooms, sprouts, and bok choi. Let that cook for five minutes. Then toss in your half cooked tofu and let all of it cook five minutes more, all the while stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, once your water is boiling, put in your rice, turn off the heat and put the top on for ten minutes or until all the water is gone. Once all of it is done serve the tofu and vegetables over rice with soy sauce.
