What is healthier, and what are the benefits of eating chicken, pork, fish, beef, and steak?

Answer #1

I think chicken and fish are healthier than pork and steak. Less fat.. Meat’s good to eat because there’s so much protein. I personally don’t eat pork anymore. I didn’t eat beef for a long time, but it’s so yummy lol.. so I eat that every now and then. Most of the time I just stick with poultry.

Answer #2

I love seafood. Lol…

Answer #3

Ohhh me too.. halibut is my favorite fish. Salmon, shrimp, crab, lobster, craw fish, swordfish.. yummyyy! My boyfriend wants me to try squid.. hmm I don’t know about that one though. :P

Answer #4

Fish is the healthiest, then chicken, then pork (it doesn’t contain as much fat as other red meat, and then beef.

The benefits of fish is that you get Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, which is essential for your brain, your joints and your digestive system.

Answer #5

squid is actually really nice. You should try it. I love it.

Answer #6

I love perch, shrimp, and oysters… My problem is, I like it all fried… :P

Answer #7

I love fish and chicken. I also like steak, but I don’t eat it that often.:P

Answer #8

Fish has the omega 3 and 6 fatty acids as pointed out. So it’s one of the healthier meats you can eat. But the type of meat you eat isn’t as important as where it comes from and perhaps most importantly, what the animal was eating and what its lifestyle was like.

Answer #9

Really? I think I will.. I’m always open to trying new things. :) Fried? The good thing about fish, you don’t need much for it to taste good.. butter, salt and pepper always do the trick for me. Especially shrimp.. you should try it like that. :D

Answer #10

fish and chicken are the healthiest, but red meat like beef has some benefits too. It is the best source of haem iron, which is the type of iron with the highest bioavailability. Fish, especially oily fish like salmon is a reat source of omega 3 and 6 as previously mentioned. They are all good sources of protein.

Answer #11

white meats are very lean, expecially chicken and turkey! and fish is also really low in calories unless it is an oily fish such a mackeral witch is filled with omega 3!
