Is this my hayfever or just a common cold?

I have to keep blowing my nose like every 10-20 mins, slightly itchy eyes?

Answer #1

Just ride it out, if you get to feeling better then it does not matter, also if it happens every year about this time, it could be an allergy.

Answer #2

Could it be allergies? I have the same symptoms when I have an allergy attack? Has this ever happened to you before? Has anything changed recently with regards to your surroundings, any new pets, plants etc. The cold might also be accompanied with headaches and or body aches and pains, a lumpy feeling in your throat, like it’s hard to swallow, or even the cough.

thanks! :D

Answer #4

Sounds like hayfever to me, because of the itchy eyes. Some people get it this time of year, it depends on what it is you’re specifically allergic to. Saying that, when I have a cold it feels like I’m blowing my noes every 10-20 seconds! I’ve never got itchy eyes whilst I have a cold though, so I’m guessing it’s hayfever. You can take antihistamine for that though.

Answer #5

it does happen when i have hayfever but a bit later on in the season - with worse itchy eyes , ect. not usually a cold as such. never mind i think i’ll get over it soon enough!

Answer #6

Cool, I myself hate Doctors and just ride it out.
