Have any of you ran into random acts of kindness lately? If so, how did it feel? Feel free to share.
I just lost my job last week, and in order to start working for my church, I have to get a background check. They are $20 at the sheriff's department, and I was worried about how I'd get the money. Well, a woman from the church found out {{probably through her daughter, who is a good friend of mine}}, and called me to tell me that she had $20 to give me. It was really nice, and it actually made me tear up a bit.
Actually, yes.
An elderly man was moving back down south and decided to get rid of all his furniture. he gave us a new fridge, stove, children's bed, dresser, sofa and chair - no charge.
It was really a great thing he did for us, since I recently sent money to a friend who got stuck in a bad situation, and couldn't afford to get this stuff myself.
I guess what goes around comes around :)
Yes I gave money to the Ronald Mcdonald's House, everytime I go through the drive thur for a 1.00 unsweet tea they ask me if I will donate a dollar and lets just say I get tea everyday and sometimes twice a day, gosh I hope they stop soon. LOL
