Depends on the situation.

If I yell at my mom for no reason, then she would not talk to me for a week. If I yell “brake!!” at her when she drives and someone jumps in the road, she’s say “thank you”.

If I yell at my kids for no reason, they’d complain about me to my husband. If I yell at them for climbing on the barn roof, they’d know they did wrong and dangerous things and they’d know they deserve a lecture.

When I have an issue with a family member, I try my best to stay calm and at a voice level that isn’t loud. As satisfying as yelling to get the frustration out may be, most get really defensive and shut down when you yell, which ends in your whole issue not getting discussed or resolved. Calmness gets it all done better.

They would just chalk it up as my having a bad day or a mood swing, then shake their heads at me, tell me it will get better then go on with whatever they were doing before my outburst..Things change at times in a persons life as they get older and become an “adult” in the sense..When I would get yelled at by my mom,if she used my full birth name (included middle name),I knew my azz was in deep trouble..lol..

Depends on who lol iver never yelled at my mom before.. And me n my brother will bicker n yell every now n then n then leave the room n come back n were fine hahah.. N I never just random start yelling at my dad lol but if he yells at me I will yell back but my dad gets super mad lol so I don’t even try.. Lol I really dont yell much… I use to yell all the time just kinda grew outta it.
