Learn to find things to laugh at and someone to laugh with. laughter is the best. Don't take yourself too seriously. Also don't isolate yourself ever, be connected with people. Find someone, something to love. Be creative. Spoil yourself now and then. Remember when/if you want to get married, don't ask 'do i love him/her' ask 'do i LIKE him/her'. The love and passion will go up and down but the foundation of LIKE will help it through. Be active in your mind and physically and also learn to rest thoroughly. Give Jesus a go, he's a nice guy and will always be there.
The first key is knowing and focusing on what's important to you. Family, friends, your job.. you should enjoy everything you do, as much as possible. Secondly, if something isn't making you happy, talk it out like a calm and mature adult. When necessary, know how to say sorry and forgive. There's nothing worst than holding grudges. Last, but not least, be generous. Be kind. Be gentle. If you are those things, most people will bless you with the same kind of loving care. When they do, you're much more likely to have happiness.
One quote I live by is "If your not happy now your never gonna be happy" so try and make the best of every moment, even if that moment is waiting in line at the MVD lol theres always an adventure waiting for you every single day, so slap a smile on your face and stay super duper positive cause ya never know what life is gonna throw at you
