I live in the UK. Before Christmas 08, I went to the doctors to get the contraceptive pill, Microgynon 30. She said I was okay to take it and gave me a perscription. The next day my mum got it for me.
I've ran out of my packets now. Do I need to go to the Doctor again to get them or should I be able to pick them up by myself without an appointment?
You need to make a repeat prescription. Do this through your doctor. After the first three months you are supposed to get an appointment with the doctor to talk through any side affects and see if the pill is right for you. So ring the surgery ask to book an appointment and tell them you need some more pills.
