What do people see in gauges?

I agree, they worry me too. I don’t see the point in them really. I don’t see how saggy ears are attractive lol

I think that they’re kinda gross—and look super painful… >_<. they scare me a lot, too…

I agree. The small ones arent bad but the large ones…not for me. I guess everyone has their own style.

I like them it’s all personal preference. some like tattoos some dont, some like piercings some dont.

gauges. I find attractive. I have them. but l;ike every other tattoo or piercings, there pointless. you might as well post a question, why do people find lip rings attractive?

nowadays its mostly a faze/trend kids wants them because everyone else has them and they think there “cool” but most of those kids and teens don’t know that they’ll end up having saggy ugly looking earlobes later in life if they decide to take them out and the only way to fix there earlobes is with surgery that still leaves you with a very permanent and noticeable scar bottom line is, most kids and teens don’t think before they act I don’t have anything against piercings but I don’t like seeing kids and teens with them because majority of them don’t actually want them

Scary? Gross? Come on people… they’re forms of body art and self expression… get a grip. If you don’t like it, that’s fine. If someone else wants them, it’s honestly none of your business though. If they like them, the have every right to get them. Their body, they’re choice. And it’s NOT a “trend”. They’re not meant to be gotten because they’re “cool”… they’re supposed to be gotten if the person actually TRULY wants them. Other people need to keep their oppinions to theirselves. Oh and I saw someone say “every other tattoo or piercings, there pointless”… actually NO piercing OR tattoo is “pointless”. a lot of times tattoos have specific meaning to the person who got it. And as I’ve already said, piercings are nothing more than forms of body art and self expression. I honestly don’t get why some people make a huge deal over stuff like this…

I wasn’t giving anyone hell for THEIR opinions I was stating MINE. She asked what people saw in them and I answered. Sorry if it came out wrong and I seemed like I was b*tching people out, because I honestly was just giving my opinion.

For most yes it is a trend. I’m 5/8th right now and the reason I gauge is a reason such as getting a tribal tattoo. I first seen ear gauges when watching a document of tribes in Africa. Circle stands for freedom for most and so, I thought that was significant. Then years later, people that called me stupid and gross for having gaged ears are starting to get them too! It’s so silly. If your going to gauge, do it for what it stands for, not because the guy from Job for a Cowboy has them. Do what you must but just because because it can be just as regretful as that tattoo you got when you were drunk.

When you get older. EVERYTHING will sag. So. What the hell right?
