Carefull for too much protein. It can be harmful. Get him to eat VERY healthy and enough nutrients.
Often skinny people snack on sugar, caffeine and chocolate and those can have the opposite effect for someone with a fast metabolism, in helping them losing weight in a BAD way (messes up your blood sugar)
Get him eating complex carbs, nuts are EXCELLENT for gaining weight and also eating regular meals could have the opposite effect in helping a person gaining weight.
Tell him protein drinks won't make him bigger it will only give him extra boost
in protein so his muscles will recover better from a good day at the gym
muscle builds at rest and protein helps it. The only way he can build muscle
is workout hard the rest and take a shake Never will protein will build muscle
by itself acctually if he doesn't use the protein it will turn to fat
That is somthing that you might want to research instead of just asking people for their opinion. Look for products that would work then make sure they don't have any harmful side effects or anything that would harm the person taking them. Hope this helps. =)
protein shakes are good. go to a vitamin store and get whey protein. they come in many flavors so you can find one that your friend would enjoy. of course, you must also lift/excersise. there is no magical drink that can give you muscle.
no problem... tell him good luck! also, he could eat some more meat, that builds up muscle (more protein) too.
He could drink isagenix protein shakes (thats what my mom does), or any other brand.
