its like a regular braid, just using all your hair and pulling it to the back. =] it works really well if you have long-ish hair. =] start at the top, and begin to braid, and work your way down. =] tada, a french braid!! =D try to get a parent or a friend to do it, though. =] its really hard to do by yourself. =]
