For all the tattooed people out there...

a day after you get your tattoo… Does it hurt when you stretch the skin??

Like… not a lot… but to move… Id if you get my question… but some advice or experiences would help me.

id say thatz normal I havnt gotten a tattoo but I’ve carved in2 my skin ann I’ve have a friend witha tattoo so it will hurt for bout a week or so then heal I hope I’ve helpd :) goodluck

Yes it happens… remember, from a biological standpoint, a tattoo is in fact, AN INJURY. Your skin was stabbed hundreds of thousands of times. The skin was traumatized, and it needs to heal.

So yes, it can be sensitive for a several days after.

It will be sore for a week or two, but moving the skin around doesn’t hurt. It’s like having the worst Charlie horse of your life, not like having a huge scab that won’t move around.

It didn’t hurt me at all. The whole process didn’t hurt me. It just itched like crazy.

A tattoo is essentially the same as a bad scrape from a wound stand point. Yes, it can hurt. If it still hurts after about 4 or 5 days later then check with the artist.
