I would be worried about this, because you shouldn't feel sleepy after eating a lot of sweets, your liver should be able to handle it all. If your liver isn't capable of doing it's job that indicates a serious medical problem.I would suggest seeing your primary care physician and telling them about this. If this happens frequently, or you find yoruself hungry all the time I would be really concerned, ask your doctor for an A1C blood test.
This will test your blood for minerals, vitamins, and nutrients and check for any severe imbalances.
I think While such sweets are unfailingly cheap and tasty, they also lead to sudden spikes in blood sugar and a reduction in orexin activity. We eat them for the energy boost, but the empty calories in these foods make us tired and sad instead.
I think in general when you eat a lot of food it makes you sleepy? But that's odd I'm usually bouncing off the walls when I eat a lot of sweets haha.
I usually get tired when i'm really full. But it could be just because you're body is using alot of energy to digest food.
Because sugar slows your body down.
