my son has a federal offense on his record ,where can he find employment

As soon as you have ANY sort of criminal offense of your record it is a LOT harder to find a job. Trust me, been there done that. Sucks A$$.

I dont know about the rest of the world but in NZ we have a govt thing called Work and Income, and I contacted them and they basically let you get the benefit (after going through PILES of paperwork and signatures) and in the meantime you have to be searching for a job and proving it.

Once he DOES get the job, he MUST make sure he NEVER DOES ANYTHING STUPID that could land him in any dort of trouble again. This will show the next employee after this job that he IS responsible , reliable, on time, etc and that his offence was a one off and that he has clearly learnt his lesson. If not, hes going to make it WAAAY harder on himself.

Search local paper for pretty much anything remotely related to what he wants to do. Phone them asap about a job application. Also check local websites, and word of mouth. Word of mouth tends to be the best way to go, but there isnt as much of it.

It depends on the offense I’m pretty sure.
