Answer #1

Mine: John 3 : 16 - God loved us enough to provide us a way to live with Him in Heaven through the free gift of Salvation/Jesus when He didn’t have to - what blessed assurance, Amen !!

Answer #2

hey there, I’m back & I have a little time now so I want to post the few of the very many of my favouriite verses,,

You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 & why I love this verse is because God is IN you - not far off somewhere. Yes, God is in Heaven - but that is not the only place He is. By the Holy Spirit, God now has His dwelling place in you! You don’t have to “try to reach God”. He is right there! What you need to do is cultivate an awareness of His presence. Thisalong with communication, is the only way to develop a closer relationship with God. . God, who, is within you, is greater. Greater than any problem. Greater than any difficulty. Greater than the devil. Greater than any addiction. Greater than anything you will ever face.

Jeremiah 29: 11

For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord. thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome,

Hebrews !3:5(ii)

for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support.

Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Philipians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who gives me strentgh.

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Answer #3

But that’s my point. If you understood.

So… what you mean is, you said that, not thinking that any response would come… all too common…

Answer #4

JOHN 3:16

TELLS US THAT OUR GOD IS SO LOVING THAT HE SENT HIS SON TO COME AND SAVE US ALL!!! :):)

Answer #5

can you not be respectful for once in your life??

Yeah, I can. To anyone and everyone who deserves it…

they are very immature and ignorant

You’re either in denial, or have NO idea what those words mean.

Answer #6

now now lish, try not to get too upset just because someone isnt agreeeing with you, just because he points out contradictions or ignorance doesnt mean he’s being disrespectful. Just means he’s making a point you dont like.

Answer #7

captainassassin, can you not be respectful for once in your life?? I dont find your so called answers funny, they are very immature and ignorant

Answer #8

…Make up your mind… you said ‘things as they were’ which had literal impications, NOW you’re saying it was some form of figurative expression.

Answer #9

Well ..they were an Agrarian culture so…that’s whith their language and form of expretion…so & some of the passages are explained the way their way of thought, that’s why some passages could be strange to understand sometimes…

Answer #10

is because they (the Prophets) used to speak things as they were.

Riiight… as they were… no embellishment at all… because there WERE many many donkeycock men in the cradle of civilization, who could ejaculate like lawn sprinklers.

Answer #11

Philipians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who gives me strentgh.

=D

I actually have a lot, but this is my FAVORITE!

Answer #12

‘She lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose semen was like that of horses.’ (Ezekiel 23:20)

Answer #13

EXO 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

Answer #14

And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat. – Leviticus 26:29

Answer #15

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he

sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but

seventy-seven times. Matthew 18:21-22

Answer #16

mine would be from Psalm 23, b/c it reminds me that when im down, He is always there to bring me out of any situation and that im never alone, and that I can call to him through whatever and whenver and He’ll be there.

my other would be John 3:16 & 17 b/c this is the verse that tells no matter who can come to him and they will be saved!!!

Answer #17

I cant answer this because I have way too many favourites, I love them all,,

but I’ll think of some & post them in here, P.s Awesome Post :-)

Answer #18

Oh ,well .They (like I said before) talk or speak things as they were…because in an agrarian culture as they were their mode of speak is that way…like when you talk to people who had been raised all their life’s on a farm is different to the sometimes “fine city people speech”. Here in my Country you can see that. :) So That is it. As one day…on high School one girl was talking that She needed to look out the Horses when they were mating to check that they didn’t hit themselves on the barn. And the other girl was aghast …” Why you need to look at that, pervert?!” She told her & the 1st one rebuked “You Idiot! Isn’t that I like to see that but I help my Dad on the farm to check that the horses on that time don’t injure themselves!” I laughed a lot. But that’s my point. If you understood.

Answer #19

a bible passage I like:

joshua 24:15

15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

…I love joseph, his integrity is amazing.

Answer #20

As a little child, I learned John 3:16… and have not deviated from that since.

However, I enjoy the whole bible, because it shows me the story of mankind, from the beginning, how it all started, and how it will end. Also, what I can count on, what to believe in, how to conduct myself, and what Gods instructions are.

I love the book of Isaiah, and John. I enjoy reading all the other books also, as they complete the picture.

Within those pages, lies Gods will for mankind.

Answer #21

Mmm..:)Yes..The meaning of Ezekiel’s parable of the two sisters…is that Ohola is Samaria, capital ofthe Norterhn Kingdom of Israel & Oholiba is Jerusalem…because both behaved like common prostitudes..the apetite for lovers( are the pagan gods) is incredible…they have run in turn afterEgypt & Assyria ..now Judah, outdoing her sister is going after Babylon..Jerusalem will share Samaria’s fate…shame & destruction at hands of her latest lover…So something difficult is for people not to astonish for the language used on some passages…is because they (the Prophets) used to speak things as they were.:)
