Making sure you don't eat within 3 hours of a race will make it easier to run faster. But you should drink an athletic drink within the hour of your run to give you energy. Practice does make perfect. I think it's good to run say 3 miles, running an average pace, then sprinting for 100m every 800 or so metres. It really helps with energy blasts.
when you are sprinting use your arms and make sure you keep them straight rather than floppy and start off a bit slower and build up your speed :)
practice all the time, drink lots of water, eat right, stretch, run on the balls of your feet, be really quick, motivate and push yourself
everything that was said herre, and do a lot of squats with weights in each hand, and high rep leg press, i sprint like a beast now :D
Make sure you run on your toes, like the pads of your feet. Stretch regulary, drink lots of water. Do timed sprints, push yourself.
run with the ball of your foot, which is the part of your foot that's below your toes, you get more power and speed.
try walking and running with some load on u ... it will train ur mussels well , try running in beach sand ...
Do leg practices such as spurt bouncing. The leg muscles are responsible for bursts of energy and power.
perfect practice makes perfect(;
