Is exercising bad for a cold?

Answer #1

I dont think so. As Long as you dont go running when its -87degrees & stuff like that. A lot of athletes actually exercise while they are sick, its believed to help you get better faster. Dont push yourself too hard & take breaks & drink plenty of water.

Answer #2

You’re usually weak when you have a cold, your body doesn’t function how it would normally. I’d really wait to exercise if so, wouldn’t want to take the risk of doing something that could hurt yourself. So I wouldn’t recommend it, no.

Answer #3

well if the person has a cold and they want to exercise then i’d say it’s ok just as long as they don’t overdo it. besides sweating might be good for you cause it might help get some of the junk out of your system. but if you do exercise don’t do it like for twenty minutes or so because like spartan512 said when your sick you are usually weak. so i would say just exercise for 5 minutes and that’s it

Answer #4

No,it actually increases your immune system which fights colds .
