So what's the best way to break a water fast. I don't want any crap about how fasts are bad for you. I'm doing it as a detox method. Last time I ended my fast by going back to normal eating and my stomach didn't handle it well, I was sick three times.
Does anyone know the correct way to break a fast?
How long does it take you to gain your weight back? I've only been on my water fast for 7 days and have lost 19 pounds- down to 101 pounds. This is bad for me. I look like a concentration camp survivor. I had planned 30 days for health reasons, but don't think I will survive more than 2 weeks. I drink 1 gallon of water & 2 Ounces of organic juice for my brain function. I have NO energy & need help walking at times. What am I doing wrong?
Try eating foods that are very light with less oil. Try some homemade soup with some pasta in it. Then move on to sandwiches, and white meats. Don't eat anything heavy like steak or burgers.
Thanks for the advice. On an average 10 day fast I loose anywhere from 10-20lbs. I gain it back though which is good since I always end up underweight at the end of my fasts.
Start eating little bits of celery and lettuce and healthy stuff x
Best way to break a water fast is to drink some water.
