How do I deal with eczema
the best thing to do is go to your dermatologist because there are different types of eczema and to treat it properly you would probably need the dr. to look at it and determine the best treatment based on the severity of what you have.
In the meantime, when you get out of the shower and your skin is still damp use a mild lotion, something fragrance free...also, you could try using an over the counter cream like hydrocortisone...
Try to stick to soaps and lotions that are really mild, like dove soap unscented or cetephil lotion..
to really prevent and treat your eczema the dr. will probably need to prescribe somehting like elidel, which a cream just for eczema.
Eczema is an itchy inflammation of the skin, associated to a varying degree with other features such as: redness of affected areas of skin generally dry skin, which is often thickened in the areas that have been scratched lumps or blisters in affected areas signs of superficial infection, such as weeping or crusty deposits.
