Can I still dye my hair if it's wet from just qettin out the shower ?

Answer #1

No, your hair needs to be completely dry so that it can soak up the dye…any damp spots in your hair will not dye properly.

Answer #2

Well, I have heard that salons say dying your hair when it is wet makes the dye penetrate your hair better. They only bad thing is, it’s hard to tell whether you covered your entire hair with the dye, since it is all wet to begin with. But I don’t know for sure. I personally have always dyed mine and my boyfriend while it was dry.

Answer #3

Does the directions on the product say whether to apply when wet or dry? Look and see. If so, go by what that particular product says.

Answer #4

no.

Answer #5

No. You have to wait until it’s fully dry. Don’t dye it the same day as you washed it. Your hair produces natural oils that keep your head more safe from the harsh dye. It’s best to wait until the next day after you wash your hair to dye it.
