Dog Labor-- When will it end!

Daisy started into Stage 1 of labor at 7:30 p.m EST and she is walking the floors, whining, and no puppies! I guess she is still having contractions. Any thoughts would help! She doesn’t won’t to be alone so going to bed isn’t an option ( not that I would leave her )

UPDATE: Daisy required a C section since all 4 puppies was breach. I’m thankful I got her to a vet on Christmas Eve before they closed. She is doing great ! The puppies had a very rough start but they are doing great now.

yes it can take a while. my boyfreinds kittens were born about 3 hours between. just have to wait, make sure shes got enough water and nice warm beddings but make sure not to use expensive beddings- its going to get blood all over it

when she has her puppies DO NOT TOUCH THEM, animals will abandon there pups if humans have contac with them, even if shes like on them or wtv she’ll do her work, dont worry.she will have her pups very soon hopefully, everyone is always different all my cat/dogs had theres at different times.. she could be having them now? lol or maybe tomorrow, just wait it will come.

I will try and make this short and hope all is well by the time you read this. You can touch the puppies and you may even need to assist in the birth process. Something could be very wrong. Labor can take awhile, however once they start activly pushing a puppy needs to come out in no less then 25 min. It could be stuck, Dead, or breached (which is common) but could still cause problems. You need to get her to settle down and keep her calm. Please fun mail me and let me know how eveything turned out or if you need more help. I just took my Female Chihuahua into work with me about 4 months ago to do a c-section because the pup was to big to come out.
