doesnt it bother you when people you dont know call you honey or sweety? teachers always do that & it bothers the heck outta me!! even on here people do it. I dont care if its family, but if its people you dont know its creepy! thanx!

No, it doesn’t bother me. Where I’m from it’s just something people do, they don’t mean anything by it.

Most people are just trying to be nice, but if it’s like an old guy saying it to some young girl that’s not his family THEN it’s a bit disturbing lol

Some people say that just to be personable and kind - they aren’t doing it to make you uncomfortable.

well I don’t know about other people but there is this one girl at my school that always does that and no matter how many times I tell her to stop she always forgets.

it doesnt bother me, it makes me feel more comfortable around people actually. but I can see how it would bother or annoy some people.

yea when they say “oh hello DEAR” and I say I am not fu**k’n bambi so STOP gosh or “hello sweetie “ and I say I am not candy WTF or “hey honey” ; and I say your not a bear so you aint getting none
