Does the type of piercing hurt?

I was thinking about getting a industrial piercing and I’m a little scared does it hurt and if it does how bad?? I have my ears pierced, but don’t remember how it feels. I have a very low tollerance of pain so do you think that I should still be able to get it done??

It wasn’t the most painful for me, but I also have a high tolerance for pain unlike you. However, all piercings don’t hurt some are just uncomfortable, but it all depends on the person. It is in a sensitive area so yes it will hurt. I can pretty much guarantee that even if you did remember what it felt like to get your ears pierced, that it’s nothing like it. (Unless you’ve gotten your cartilage pierced before, but I’m assuming that you have not.)

I had mine for about a year and a half, but personally for me it was bothersome. The healing process takes quite a while, and honestly was the most painful part. You’ll have trouble lying on that side for a while, and it will continue to be very sensitive. But it is of course a personal choice, and healing time//process is a bit different for everyone. It may not be that bad for you.

But just make sure you go to a professional, and all of the tools they use as well as the environment is sterile.

Good luck :)

foe me it was one of the most painfull. like the after healing was the problem I’ve had it for over a year and it still achs if I hit it or lie on it. like I’m not trying to freak you out I’m just being straight up with you

I went with my cousin to get hers and it was her most painful…and she has a few piercings and tats. It takes forever to heal and can get infected pretty easily; she ended up taking hers out after a few months because of the pain and infection. But, thats a risk with all piercings and as long as you take really good care of it, keep it clean etc, you should be fine. I think it looks pretty cool. To be honest with you, it will probably hurt the crap out of you, and you might cry. Not trying to be mean, just speaking from experience. You might want to try just a cartiledge piercing and see how you like that experience, because if just that piercing hurts you bad, industrial will be excruciating. Good luck! :)
