When having you helix pierced does it hurt?

And I used a gun to pierce it.. I know it's bad! But that's all they had, and I really wanted it done ):

I can't find a piercing retainer for helix piercings all I can find are ones for nose, labret, eyebrow, monroe, lip and tongu...
