Does a bellybutton piercing hurt..

I am so sorry I’m asking this question AGAIN! I know there are wayyy too much questions about belly button piercings:( But the thing is, I can’t handle pain, AT ALL. Every little pinch hurts. I got a 2nd earpiercing this summer and that didn’t really hurt, thank god. But, anyway, my friend got a bellybutton piercing this sumemr and she said it was the worst pain she ever experienced. Her cousin who got one at the same time even fainted. Is it really that bad? Because I really want one!

for me no not really like it felt like someone pinched that little piece of extra skin where you would get your piercing of course but yeah it hurts for like 5 minutes and then its gone. the person who did mine messed up the first time so it hurt a little extra then what it would for one time (:

I once tried to do that myself with a sterilised needle. All it did for me was made a half hole which bled when the needle came out. Even if you try to do it fast, it still hurts. Just like if you get slapped really fast it stings. Personally, I don’t think it’s worth it just to make you stand out from the croud. If I want to do that, I’ll buy myself a new top. =o)

I’ve pierced my belly button literally 10 times in the past year, by myself. it hurts pretty bad when you go slow. first couple of times I went turtle slow, but if you go fast, it doesn’t hurt. proffesionals go superfast, so it shouldn’t hurt. go to someone who is suuuper clean, and watch them take the needle out of an unopened pack. tell them you want to make sure it’s sterile. don’t let them clean a used one, because you can still get sick! well, good luck!!!

Everyone has a different pain threshold. I know I hate that answer too. I am going to be getting a lip piercing soon and want to know the pain of that, but really if you think about it… some people may say it was unbearable pain, and others might say it was just a pinch. So you will never know how painful or un-painful it is, until you get it done yourself. Your body may act completely different than your friends.

If you really want it that badly, get it done, just make sure you take care of it! Oh and if you do get it done, get it done by a professional of course.

Good Luck!

I got it done and I’m a real big baby when it comes to pain. It did hurt for me but it’s just the needle once everything is in place it isnt bad really it’s just those few mins. I love mine and I’m glad I did it. Beware though they almost ALWAYS get infected and I cleaned mine like crazy normally it takes about 3 months for them to completely heal so make sure you buy cleaning stuff there and keep your hands away.

Answer #6

I dont know but I am having it done next friday I hope it doesnt kill !!!

Answer #7

Answer #8

I really have no idea I want mine done so bad and I have the same question I guess I have to find out for myslf

Answer #9

I literally just got mine done! I cried for an hour before getting my last shot an 15 so a total baby! but its actually SO worth it, if you really wanna get it done. Its only a pinch but its kinda so low down in your body that your half unaware of it! Your in and out in a few mins and by the time you stand up theres only a slight stinging pain left!

Answer #10

Don’t let pain stop you, if you do everything else will start to get in your way. What I do is I just think of everything else in my life that has gone wrong. Like a guy who broke my heart, the worst pain ever. So if I could handle that I can handle any other pain and it would be never be worse. :)

Btw I got my account confirmed, lol. If you still don’t have yous the just talk to the editor. (under advisors.)

Answer #11

depends on your pain tolerance…if you say owww and make a big deal when someone titty slaps you or something like that then its going to hurt but if you are like me and practicly immune to pain then you should be fine
