doctors.

does anyone know if there is any way that I could go to the doctors without my mom knowing, because if I tell her she wont believe that I think somethings wrong with me and then I would get in trouble.

I doubt it, Florida law tends to favor parents rights over kids. There are certain exceptions to this, when it comes to dealing with certain problems. And yes you have to pay. Look, exactly how are you going to get into trouble by telling her you’re sick? What type of parent would get mad at their kid for thinking they were sick? Just tell her you’re not feeling too well… Or, talk to your school nurse, or school counselor…

are you talking about possibly having an eating disorder? is that why you’re worried? I would recommend you tell your mother the truth. You’re not going to get in trouble for being sick or for having an abusive boyfriend. She may get upset, but you need to understand that she’s not getting upset at you, just that her kid is in pain… There’s a difference… If you do not want to tell her the truth, just tell her your stomach has been hurting, and you’ve been feeling sick. You dont have to tell her why.
