I have astigmatism and the doctor told me people with astigmatism have eyes that are less rounded and more egg shaped. The lights at night sometimes have trails and halos unless I wear glasses then is all good. The bad part is that you can only wear toric contact lenses and some people with astigmatism can't sometimes get used to them. Toric lenses are made so that every time you blink they move and reshape themselves to the eyes.
"Astigmatism" is a malformation of the cornea which can result in blurry vision. Depending on how bad it is, you'll need either glasses or surgery.
