Do You Think This Is Real?

My friend and me made a Quijia board and I watched and it moved. I think she was moving it,although I think ghosts are real. And she’s been known to lie…Should I try it and do you think a ghost was actually moving it?

Ouija boards have been around in one form or another since around 1100 BC, and in all that time, not one of them has managed to produce a single scrap of hard data that proves it was transmitting messages from the afterlife. Does the absence of data prove the absence of ghosts? No, but personally, I tend to be most convinced by reliable, testable, repeatable methods, not feelings.

First and foremost, the Ouija board is entertainment, which is why it is marketed by a board game company. If it brings you more entertainment to think that spirits are involved, by all means, think that, and it will have done its job admirably.

There have been many stories about Ouija Boards moving by themselves, etc.

I personally believe that a Ouiji board is a way of attempted communication to spirits (not the spirits of dead people, other ones) that I would consider evil. In none of the stories I have heard have these spirits helped anyone, or given them advice, or even comfort. It also seems to allow these spirits into your life, and lets them torment and abuse you. I would recommend against the use of one, but it is your choice in the end.
