Do you think I did the right thing?

I was walking into the kitchen. and I look down and boom found some cash. it was like 24 dollar. I didnt yell or anything. cause we got some greedy peoples who live with us. so I stuck it in my pocket. walk upstair and explain to my grandma what happen. so she keeping it hidden unstill we find who ever own it. I think it my brother or his girlfriend ( both live with us).then again I was tempted to stuff it in my pocket and walk in my room and hide it. But am no thief even tho I love money.I wont take other peoples money. do ya think I did the right thing by not keeping it??

Answer #1

that the problem. peoples will lie and say they lost it just to get some extra cash. so ill talk to each one alone. unless one of them walk up and say did you find any money

Answer #2

you make $24 sound like a lot… you can get that minimum wage in like less then 3 hours.. and half the time some people arent even working in those hours. Chill, nothing to worry about unless it reaches $100+

Answer #3

Someone is going to realize that they lost their money. It is not your money, so I would be prepared to hand it over to its owner. Obviously it belongs to a family member. The last thing you want to do is have a family member without their hard earned money. I suggest you find out who lost it and return it to them.

Answer #4

yeah you did the right thing(: but you should’ve left it there , ?

Answer #5

well hmmm im mot too sure but I think you were good for giving it to your grandma.just give it to whoever says they lost it an if no one notices I guess you just caught a blessing!

Answer #6

yes

Answer #7

You did the right thing if you lost $24 would you want someone to keep it?
