Can a dna test be done long distance?

Hi well to begin with my boyfriend step nice say that he has a son in indiana we dont belive because my boyfriend had say that that girl who is the baby mother she slept with a lot of men and when my boyfrien and her they had sex he use protectio so please help me what should I do I told him we can do a dna but we are in texas and that girl and the baby is in indianapolis.can we do a dna if we leave far from them is it posible ans if it si how can we do it so my boyfrien can find out if the baby is his my boyfriend say its not because he use protection but I want him to do the dna so I can be sure is not him I bealive him but I also want people to leave us alone and stop them from saying it his when that gir had sex with bunch of guys even his cousins help please give me some advice.

I would get the dna testing done if you can afford it so your mind will be at rest.
