Just about everything, it’s a pretty weird contraption..

I would actually consider it unhealthy to be disturbed by anything in your own body. There is nothing in life that you are more used to than your own body. You know it since you’re born. You’re inside that human body. So I guess people are supposed feel all comfortable.

What is sometimes disturbing to me is if other peoples bodies are extraordinarily different from my own (and all others that i know and am used to). For example I once met a guy who has six fingers, that was sure irritating. Or if anyone looks unlike all the other people I have ever met. I got to know a girl with two different colored eyes once (one dark brown, one blue). I was so irritated by the looks that I couldn’t look into her eyes when I talked to her. It wrecked my concentration. I just trailed off in mid-sentence. :-/ I know that it’s unfair and that I should not react like that if someone is different, but sometimes, I just can’t help it. My brain just keeps rattling about the weird feature. So I have to use all my diplomacy skill to make sure the other person does not notice that I behave awkwardly. :-(

body hair; its so useless. I mean eye brows and eye lashes are fine keeps the sweat from dripping into ur eyes but leg hair and arm hair, seriously useless.

actually body hair is very important… it helps during homeostasis when the body temperature drops or rises. If out body temperature drops then the thermo regulation center is stimulated and we will shiver to increase heat production and our hairs will stand erect to provide insulation which will minimize heat loss and so bring back to our body temperature. Thats why we get goose bumps xD

I like this question! Hmm for me I’d say some people’s toenails, like the really rotten ones you see on foot care advertisements eww that’s the grossest thing for me. The most interesting thing though, is probably the way blood pumps around our bodies, and of course our brain.. like wow… can’t even begin to express how amazing brains are haha

Actually my body is the one thing I’ve known all my life. There couldn’t be anything less weird. I meet people all of the time. They all carry human bodies around with them. What’s unusual about that? I have a basic knowledge of anatomy, biology and evolution. So why would anything as ordinary as a human body or the organs inside be disgusting, disturbing or weird……………. I hardly ever look inside my body, so I guess the view of an open human body might be a little disturbing. Like the sight of an open surgery wound would make me feel nervous. Because… you know, by instinct, bodies don’t belong that way. Yet I never had problems looking at blood or tending somebodies wounds. The instinct to help strikes first. And I guess I’d be more curious than disgusted if I ever had the chance of seeing a surgery.

interesting…usualy someone would say something like hair or ears….I personally am put off by everything pregnancy related. I think its revolting (sounds weird because its natural and that’s how life starts out) and I don’t like the sight of a enormous belly. Even though i want 3 kids of my own, let’s hope that my thoughts chance on pregnancy…or I could always adopt, but its nice to have something of your own once in a while..and I’m completely off track in thought right now..:P

i find nothing about the human body unpleasant, its a beautiful thing capable of making life.

Mouths. It’s a big gaping hole filled with flesh and tissue and bone. What the fuuuuuuck man.

What it does is trap a layer of air next to your skin which warms up from your body heat and keeps you warm. It does work better with more hair, but it still has an effect. It isnt supposed to be like a blanket or anything.

The size of the female pelvis. Seriously. How can a baby fit through, the outlet is TINY!

I’m with Renee on this one. TOENAILS. Even if they’re clean and not disgusting, what is the use of them? Surely our next step of evolution is to get rid of toenails… They’re annoying to cut, annoying to clean and annoying to put nail polish on.
