Difference between Apocalypse and Rapture

What is the difference between the Apocalypse and The Rapture

Answer #1

…keep in mind, that the apocalypse refers to the destruction of Jerusalem 2000 years ago rather than some future event, and the Rapture is completely unbiblical; a fairy tale invented in recent history by twisting and merging totally unrelated portions of the Bible.

Answer #2

Apocalypse: noun: a cosmic cataclysm in which God destroys the ruling powers of evil - see: battle of Armageddon noun: the last book of the New Testament (Revelation) ; contains visionary descriptions of heaven and of conflicts between good and evil and of the end of the world; attributed to Saint John the apostle

Rapture: when Jesus Christ returns for his own - people that are saved / accepted Salvation - happens in the ‘twinkling of an eye’ with the dead in Christ rising first and those alive immediately follow.

Answer #3

Apocalypse is destruction…

Rapture…is delight.

Choose this day, whom you will serve.
