Dialated pupils??

I recently went to the eye dr. And he said if I wasn’t pregnant they woulda dialated my pupils.for the people who been to the eye doc… How would he have done that, and is it painful?

The reason for dilating the pupils is to make it easier to ‘see’ things when the eye doctor examines you. They probably didn’t do it on you because people have grown very cautious about using any chemicals on pregnant women, and of course the eye drops contain chemical ingredients.

In most places, the eye drops don’t hurt. Unfortunately that’s not the case in Nepal, where - honest, I’ve experienced it - a little red pepper is mixed in the eye drops, to make sure your eyes water. So… stay away from Nepal if you’re planning to go to an eye doctor.
