Is it dangerous to not eat carbohydrates at all in a day instead of having vitamins, proteins, etc?

Answer #1

yes you need carbohydrates……simple and complex =D

Answer #2

you need to have the right balanced diet for your body type is the best advice I can give you. If you need certain vitamins & minerals for your body then you need to have the right diet for that be it proteins or carbs. Again it all depends what your body needs or may even lack & to find that out is difficult with running a blood test.

My honest opinion here is that you seek a nutritionist. Have her find out what your body needs & what vitamins & minerals your body needs stay healthy & strong. We can only advise you on what each thing can do for your body but as for really helping you, best thing is to seek help from a professional.

You do need carbs, but you do find enough carbs if you eat a variety of vegetables. You don’t need wheat, grains etc. but you might find that you are starving and feeling very hungry. Also protein is good, but not the ones you get in meat. So if you are going for protein, try looking for other foods which give it to you.

Carbohydrates are essential, and popular to many people’s beliefs, they aren’t all bad. When you’re trying to gain weight, carbs and protein is the best way to go because the protein rushes to the muscles giving it nutrients to grow (needed most after workouts and at night), while carbohydrates serve to give the body energy and make your body look fuller.

Cutting carbs away makes the body “flatten”(in bodybuilding terms) and makes you appear smaller than you really are, while also making you feel fatigued. It’s not particularly dangerous in small periods of time, but it can affect your body over a long period of time.

The trick is to know what carbohydrates to consume and when to consume them. Slow digesting carbs found in bread, pasta, and oatmeal is what you need in the morning to make it through the day. Fast digesting carbs are needed for pre-workout and post workout, and can be found in protein shakes, brown rice, potatoes, chicken, fish, and other veggies as well. Along with carbs, your body needs fiber, in order to digest all that protein and carbs that you consume.
