Dad thinks I'm crazy?

Yesterday I finally come out about my depression disorder. well, haven’t been out of my room much, but every time I see him he wants to talk about it. it’s really awkward and I told him I’m the same person I was last week. he treats me different know so I try to avoid him. A few minutes ago he told my mom and sister that he thinks I’m going crazy. wtf!! Why would he think this?? I’m not doing anything crazy, I already told him he’s making things awkward?? what else can I do??

Answer #1

‘Look, I know you’re concerned but really I’m fine - If I feel the need to talk, I will come to you, I promise’

Merry Christmas !!

Answer #2

He is just concerned for you and doesn’t know how to deal with the situation.

You need to explain how you feel to your mom and dad and explain that it has no bearing on how they are raising you but that it is just something you are going through during this period of your life AND that if it really starts affecting you, that you will need for them to allow you to see a professional.

i hope you do not take offense,         To that that’s gone before;         ’Tis only that it’s my two-cents,         And not one penny more. §;o)
