what do i do My dad left for 5 years and i talked to him on the phone allot?

When he was gone i missed him so much and wanted him back. But now that hes back 5 years later he doesn’t seem so great as he seemed over the phone. He yells and swears and cries and tells me what to do and goes in my room with out my permission. Hes really starting to stress me out big time and piss me off and i don’t know what to do,Right now I’m not at my house haven’t been for like 3 months but i am going back soon and i don’t wanna nor can i deal with his bs. I have anger and stress issues and i thought when he got here they wouldn’t be so bad but he makes it worse and i can’t do it and i told my mom but she doesn’t wanna do any thing cause they have been together for 19 years. But the thing is I’m not the only one who can’t stand him my little sister and even my mother can’t stand him either so I need some advice PLEASE!!! ?

you should talk to a counceler with him and the rest of your family. my friend is going through the same problem

TRy to stay out of his way and if he asks, just tell him he was nicer when he wasn’t here. See if you can get him to realize what he is doing to his family. Good luck.

tell your dad you are unhappy with his behavior.. don’t be rude either.. just ask to talk with him and tell him how you feel.. try not to blame him.. use I statement’s and say how you feel.. don’t make him feel like the problem.. just ask him to change something.. tell him your getting older and you would like more respect and to be treated like the young adult you are!

this is typical ur dad has been gone since u were 14 yes..he has missed abig part ofur life i think all he is trying to do is catch up on alot of lost parenting..talk to him and tell him u are not a child anymore and you should not be treated as one.

i did tell him how i feel. and no advice master thats def not the case he is a bad influence and he was this way before he left too just not as bad
