Why is my teacher like this? What can I say back to her?

Okay so I have this teacher and she has “favorites.” The popular kids. Obvious. Anyways, I miss quite a bit of school you could say. Or okay it’s like this… I miss either a day a week or a day every other week. Lol, but anyways I’m fine and doing better in school than I was a few weeks ago even, so yeah. What I’m getting to is that she is crabby towards me a lot and well I am almost pretty sure it’s because of my attendance. And she is crabby towards others to not just me. (But I think thats the reason for her moodiness toward me.) Like one day I had 5 questions that were make up work from the day before, and they only took me like 2 minutes to do so I didnt think she would be so crabby when I handed them to her since she just had to correct them which doesnt take but 10 seconds for that much, but she was like,”Well gives me sometihing to do!” And she pulled it outta my hand and tossd it on her pile and glared at me in the face until I walked away. So today my friend said that in her Geometry class she was saying in reference to being in groups: “If you can stand me, you can stand all the other people in here, because really I hate whining…that’s bull sh!t!”

I was like jeez? When I heard that! She also goes crazy on this one kid in my class because well he chooses to question her math sometimes and she goes crazy and she ALSO insults our intelligence, which ticks me off. Because we’re in a Intermediate Apllied Math class. So my question is: When she’s mean or insulting like this, what can I say back to her that would be appropriate?

sometimes teachers just have a lot of stuff ogin on at one time and when they see someone that can accel, failing sometimes you just have to give them a chance and remember that they also have personal lives maybe shes going through a bad divorce or the loss of someone close

if she does things that you think are inappropriate (such as calling you stupid or not giving you help when you request it) then talk to the principal or the dean

its best not to say anything to her because you do not want to be at fault or seen at fault for anything she may do you want to stay in the clear

hope this helps Katie
