I have this cousin who has a daughter named Ashlee and I don't really know what cousin she is, like a first cousin or second cousin cause, her father is my first cousin. So, would that make her my second cousin?
No, she's actually your first cousin once removed.
It's hard to remember but if you think of the term "once removed" as being in a generation that's one away from yours, you can keep it straight. So the child of your first cousin is your first cousin once removed :)
Your own child would be Ashlee's second cousin.
-- First cousins share the same grandparents.
-- Second cousins share the same great-grandparents.
-- Third cousins share the same great-great-grandparents.. and so on!
Yes, and your cousin's daughter's daughter would be your 3rd cousin & so on. (:
it can't be my niece if it ain't neither of my sisters daughters. LOL!
Yeah thats exactly what they would be
tats what we call niece
Thank u
