Could the computer user notice if there's a backup cd?

I downloaded a knoppix live cd image and burned it to a cd. I booted up with it and it was working fine. I unplugged my compu...

But it will be read on my roommates computer and his PS3 reads it too. Its a Kings of Leon CD and its really pissing me off....

Could some one watch my computer screen on theirs... or my msn if they live way away?
