Could my hymen be broken?

I was wondering whether my hymen was broken, I can fit my fist in until my knuckles and I’ve put thinkgs up there, when moist, and I remember like 4 years ago when I was 10, I kind of felt around my whole and I think I put my fingers in and I remember a buit of discomfort but im not sure, I’ve seen pictures of the hymen but mine is very like chewed up, if you know what I mean and its quite thick.. I’ve also used tampons in the past. Does it sound like it’s broken???

it probably is broke. most girls break their hymen years before they have sex. normally through the use of tampons. but virginity isnt dependant on the hymen being in tact. so no worries there :]

It isn’t important though. Your hymen is pretty much a vestigial (no longer useful in humans) organ. It used to determine whether or not you were a virgin (if it ripped and bled during sex) but now girls are so active in sports and it’s so accepted for us to have a bit of self pleasre that it isn’t accurate. It’s not really even common to bleed now, so no worries, you’re in the majority. Go sexual revolution! But anyway, it just means a bit less pain when you finally do have sex, although it may still hurt, it did for me and my hymen was annihilated when I was like nine or ten.
