this might be a stupid question?
Maybe if cops give out more tickets, he is considered to be more efficient doing his duty perfectly. But in my personal opinion he should never be judged by number of tickets he issues
I know the police departments in my area and the Minnesota State Patrol are not given bonuses for the amour of tickets they give but they do have monthly quotas that they have to meet.
Nope. Not as far as I believe. They get paid a monthly salary and that is it. Paying them for tickets would be unethical and leave space open for them manipulating the system.
In some jurisdictions, yes- sort of a bonus for paying attention to all infractions.
Some do. I know they do around here, but I'm not sure about everywhere.
Really? Overhere they aren't allowed. Wow. I find that scary.
no the do not because that would encourage corruption
From what I understand they have a monthly quotas
