Condemned?

It says in the bible that God create every living thing. He knew us before we were born, he knitted us together in the womb. Meaning he knows how we were going to act, who we were going to become, what we were going to do in life, etc. He knows whether or not we’ll defy him, sin, & such. True we make our own choices…or do we? He brings us into the world & chooses which families we are placed in. He knows how that will effect us & what choices we will make in the future, whether we’ll believe in him or not, whether people will commit suicide or not, wether people will commit crimes or not. So here’s the question, why does he make us if he knows we’ll be sent to h3ll in the end? Why not prevent sinners & not make them rather than try to stop them or have to cleanse the earth & send them to h3ll? Why waste his time making us if he knows we’re going to burn in h3ll? Or is it just the fact of being condemned?

Answer #1

Because without the evil, no one would “know” good. How would anyone know what evil was if they never knew it, or knew of it.
Ps. You don’t have to try and prove your god, everyone knows of him and no matter how much you insist on his existance, it won’t change how some people feel.

Answer #2

Your Q is phrased wrong and leaves out the matter of free choice. God knew we “could” do wrong, not that we “would” do wrong, the choice is “always” up to us.

Speaking of food for thought/clear picture: - the majority of the world today disregards what the Bible says - yet when referring to Heaven the Bible is clear:

Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and >> many > few << there be that find it.

We are defintely not pre-condemned.

I am sure youve heard the phrase God works in mysterious ways! (its true) I really know nothing of the bible but a few storys a little bit in revalations and that God created the eath is 7 days. This is how I am going to answer your question though…I believe that he does what he does because he doesnt want to FORCE us into decisions I think that he does know how our life will work out in the begining but I believe if you make right choices than you can change the faith the the Lord has seen in you! I beileve that he doesnt force us into these decisions because of Noah’s Arks story. im not sure the whole thing but I do know that he was mad at what his people had become and so he would kill them to start fresh or something like that Noah tried to convience people but most didnt listen…so a lot died. I beileve that that was something that really shows proof that God wants us to make our own decisions So I know that he knows what you will end up AT FIRST but I believe with the right decisions you can change your fate. If you need proof of God here is a little story for you I got into a car accident going 80 miles per hour and after I was done rolling and flying everyway my car was in a metal ball LITERALLY a metal ball I walked away from that accient without a bruise cut or broken bone the only thing wrong with me was a little soreness the next day,,,so after that crash I became quite religious I believe in God fully and I believe that that is one of the decisions that changed my fate! if you have any questions or just want to talk fun mail me!

funmail me to let me know if I helped if you want I hope I did!

Answer #7

Maybe he’s a jerk.

…or maybe the Bible is just a bunch of man made stories.

Answer #8

what does that have to do with what I asked? like I said, why did he mak us if he knew we were going to diobey him? Doesn’t make since to make something that you know wont follow you then conemned them to h3ll, or why not make us in a diffrent way? Why place children in families that don’t worship him in the “proper” manner?

Answer #21

sigh does anyone actually read the bible? it said HE KNEW US before we were born! he knew what we were going to do in life, so why make the sinners?

Answer #22

lol, I believe the answer to your question is “God works in mysterious ways” I.e. no one knows why… you’d have to forgive the people who came up with these stories, whenever they didnt have an answer they’d say that… you’re asking for an answer that doesnt exist… anyone who believes is simply going to say you have to have faith, anyone who doesnt believe is going to agree with you, either way you’re not going to get an answer…

Answer #23

I know my sons do bad things as well as good things. I’m not in control of either of those actions, though - they have free will. I didn’t MAKE them sinners, but I knew when they were born that their human nature would include bad as well as good. I suppose you are suggesting that God should have made us incapable of doing anything other than following Him, but I also think that you and I are both people who would strenuously object if we were automata who had no choice in who we followed! So decide - are you glad you have free will, or not?

Answer #24

sacraficed Best answer I’ve seen so far, I think I’ld have to agree with that

& WTH DOES FREE WILL HAVE TO DO WITH THE QUSTION!!! Holy fricken crap! I’m not saying don’t make us without free will I’m saying WHY make people who he knows are going to sin! Wouldn’t have to worry bout the timid falling out of Christianity without them, aye?

Answer #25

Getting back to the question… Why did he make us if He knew we were going to disobey Him.

Let me paint a picture. You have a son, a really handsome baby. You know that he will not do everything that he is told. You know he will misbehave. You know he will lie, maybe steal, break things, and be mean to other kids right? Of course, it is what children do. So, if your son does all of that are you going to put him in time out? Of course. Do you love him anyway? Do you want to see him grow and develop? Do you want to see him graduate high school and then college and go on to work productively and get married and give you grand kids. Or have you decided never to have kids because you know you are going to have to deal with their problems?

God knows that we will sin. Fortunately, our big brother stepped in and took our time out for us, and said, don’t do it again. Seriously, even if God knows you are going to hell, it doesn’t mean that your children will, or that because of something you do you will affect someone else’s decision. It’s not all about the one. It’s about the all. There is a bigger picture than you can possibly imagine. I cannot fathom how many millions He has called home, or the more millions who have gone elsewhere. But I do know there is a reason, and if I die tomorrow my questions will be answered.

You know, possibly because of the question you asked, and the answers that were given someone else may find their way to heaven. I call that purpose enough, don’t you?

Answer #26

Well, from a non-biased viewpoint of someone who’s gone to church every sunday of her life and often other times during the week JUST BECAUSE her family is filled with a bunch of religious-freaks–

I know that there is a sect of Christianity-forgive me but I don’t remember the name at the moment, who believe that people are condemned, that is to say, good or evil, from birth by “God.”

We don’t have a way of knowing who we are or who our children may be, but I personally don’t think that everyone is condemned from birth.

Sure, the Bible says it. but the Bible says a lot of thins that aren’t true as well. And I’m not saying that just because–IT IS TRUE.

I have hand-to-hand personally met, chatted with, and discussed with priests, nuns, and deacons of the Holy Roman Catholic Church-aka, the original base of Christianity before Martin Luther and everyone else breaking off and away, and these people have also agreed (somewhat abashed-fully) that there are mistakes.

It is simply the way you interpret the Bible that influences your viewpoint on this.

For myself, I like to think that the Holy Spirit enjoys life-creation, the living of life itself by us mortals, and the death in the end–like an ending.

It watches like a father or mother would-looking down and helping us when we need it (sorry, feeling like Torikeene), and otherwise watching out for us.

Just because the Bible said it doesn’t mean that it’s true. I would think that if I knew someone was going to grow up and kill many other people who do good (aka a serial killer), then I wouldn’t want to wait before I send them to burn–or I would change them.

Or maybe people are actually all the same in the beginning. Has anyone ever seen the show Most Evil?

If you haven’t, watch it, and you’ll get it when I say that the majority of people who do evil things become that way because of how they grew up. Most of them were crazy.

So it’s like God’s sending his simpleton child down because he can’t help but love it anyway.

Even though his simpleton is going to grow up and be Hannibal-whom you might know went crazy because his mother read the scriptures to him every day of his life, and after he died he became obsessed with finding her a new body because he thought God would bring her back…and that’s where the eating people and such come from.

Sorry for the rant. Just trying to answer the question…not sure if I did, but it was a very good question, just so you know. ^.-

Answer #27

There is a slight difference between time out and eternity in hell… No matter what my kid did, I could never condemn someone I love to an eternity in hell…

but that’s just me…

Also, God knows EXACTLY what is going to happen. I could have a kid, the kid could grow up to be Bill Gates or the kid could grow up to be Hitler. I dont know that. However, if I had a kid and knew for a FACT that it would grow up to be Hitler and then I’d be condemning it to hell forever, uhm I wouldnt have the kid in the first place…

Answer #28

He tells us - His thoughts are not our thoughts, His ways not our ways - we are not capable in our thought prossesses to understand, I believe - clearly there are things we cannot understand until we get to Heaven and are transformed to be more like Him - so, we’ll just have to wait - it will be revealed in time.
