Why am I so cold all the time?

I usually have to wear a few jackets or sweaters but it still doesn’t help. Also, I’ve recently gained 10 pounds and haven’t had my period in over 3 months. If chills are a sign of pregnancy, what else is that isn’t commonly talked about? If it’s not a symptom, what could be causing my chills?

Answer #1

chills are not a sign of pregnancy as far as i know, gaining weight coud put off your period, as could stress, but weight gain and a missed period is also a sign of pregnancy. you need to see a doctor as obviously no one here can diagnose you, because we’re not doctors. also if you think your pergnant, take a pregnancy test oe see a doctor for a blood test

there could be something wrong with your thyroid by the sounds of it. get it checked out cuz if its wat im thinking, you could result in a coma or even death. go to a doctor asap and check your thyroid out!

Answer #3

well from the sounds of it it can be anything really.

  1. the fact that you have chills can in itself mean many things… a. you lacking vitamins/nutrients b. lacking sleep c. low blood pressure *there is so much more you can look it up online just google it.

  2. weight gain can also be caused by many reasons… a. change in diet b. issues with your metabolism like rosealyn stated with your thyroid c. I wouldnt rule this one out because it fits the profile, perhaps having PCOS, a common problem in woman only that might also be causing ur period to be off for 3 months now. funmail me for some info…we will hv a nice chat.

I would really see a gynecologist and get some blood work done as well as an ultra sound. I dont want to alarm you which is why I am saying to funmail me. All fingers pointing to PCOS. Look it up on google as well for more inside info. I am sure you may find a lot more in common then you realize. I pray I am wrong here…:(
