Answer #1

I dont believe in God or organized religion but when i was a teen i went to a teen church and although i didnt feel likke i believed in the religous aspect, i liked that they had this place where teens could go without adults and talk about real issues and get guidance. They made it fun and it made you want to back.

Answer #2

Answer #3

My church is better than any other church I ever stepped foot in. I don’t fall asleep, I’m always wide awake, I found some friends there, I understand what the preacher says, and I feel right at home. Like he said, it’s one of the greatest in this country…

God is good…ALL THE TIME!!

Answer #4

You probably just don’t feel at home, you just have to keep searching for that right church. Something about it makes you feel unwelcome, I know, I’ve been there a dozen times.

Don’t give up!

Answer #5

what i like about my church is that everyone there is so into God. seriously. its pretty intense when our pastor comes up and starts his sermon. sometimes he yells and screams at the top of his lungs, sometimes we sing worship songs in the middle of the sermon, if you have any questions at all, you can ask pretty much anyone there. also, my youth minister is freakin awesome! i love his messages that we get on wednesday nights, his advice for practical things, how into Jesus he really is, and he’s only 23! i love my church bcuz Jesus is tangible there. ive been to 3 or 4 churches within the past year, and God is totally seen thru everyone at the church im at now. dont get me wrong, God is with all the other churches as well, but His power and presence is more readily felt at this church. :D i also love our band that plays, they are really good, and how intense our worship is. im really into music, and that we have such powerful worship every sunday, every wednesday, some sunday nights, and some friday nights, its awesome. and i always have an awesome time when our church goes on trips. i recently got back from a trip w my church youth (high school age) and i loved it! everyone was completely God focused, just like our church. i havent gone there for too long, im still kinda new, and i like that people there are really nice, not judgemental at all, and they make an effort to talk to you. i think the main reason i love this church so much is bcuz God is the center of everything done there and He makes it enjoyable for all the members, newcomers, and everyone in-between, lol. so thats why i love it =)

Answer #6

honestly, i dont think its bad at all that you dont want to go to church bcuz you dont feel comfortable there. im totally w you on that topic. ive gone to 3 or 4 different churches within the past year, and ive felt completely out of place at some of those, and more. idk what you would be considered, it depends on the church, and the members in it. some churches wont judge you at all, but i wont lie, that might be harder to find. :-/ the more realistic things that you would prolly be considered would be juvenile, flat out stupid, and/or people might look down their noses at you. if youre thinking about going to church, yay! i’ll pray that youwill :) but in order to avoid being looked down upon, try to find a church that will accept you no matter what, and that really loves God and where He is the center. but trust me, its not bad to not want to go to a certain church bcuz you feel uncomfortable. just keep looking for that church!

Answer #7

I like being around other people who feel blessed, cuz when I’m down, it gives me hope. I like the music, sometimes lol but I learn a lot when I’m there. :)

I love the atmosphere at my church. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. Its Catholic, so its not as loud as Pentecostal churches and I find it very calming which is exactly what I need at the end of the week!

Answer #12

I like that when I learn the doctrines of my church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), it completely fits into place with the other truth I have learned, such as scientific or social principles. It just feels right, and following the principles it teaches make me less selfish and more helpful to other people.

Answer #20

Church is my favorite place when I want to spend time with myself. The peace and the love I get from there is something I love the most. Also, it connects me to God directly as I can serve the needy, the orphans those who need special care and love to face their life situations. It’s a place where I get to know the real meaning and importance of different relations and a place which always welcomes me whenever I need it, without any conditions. It is a place which accepts everyone.
