Does your church have Fast and testimony?

Does your church have fast and testimony? If your church does something like that when does it occur? I can tell you, ours does it once a month.

We do not have group fasting, but we do as church members individually fast sometimes. Several times a year people will get up and tell their testimonies. I really enjoy that.

We have testimonies every Sunday, It’s awesome to hear what God is doing in peoples lives who believe and rely on Him. for fasting that is a specific thing for spific reasons called by the church. Or a personal thing done to get closer to God.

At one of my churches there are group fasts. I think it makes it easier (maybe that’s the wrong word, I don’t know) to fast as a group because you can support one another and pray together and stuff. Just about every Sunday there someone (either from that church or a different church) will give testimony of the Love and Grace of God, an how it’s affected them that week and stuff. At my other church (church of Scotland) we don’t really go in for fasts. People maybe do it by them selves, but the congregation is so old that a day of fasting might finish half of them off. Now and again a guest speaker will come in to give testimony, which is usually pretty good.
