Do you think its ok to have one child that you race and another child that's biracial, and why?

Don’t u think it wud b weird for the children? And kinda difficult to explain to the why thr not the same?

Well yea I guess it would, I guess it would be really hard on them, but if everyone thought that there was no diffrence, alot more people would get along. But diffrence makes the world what it is,… thats why noone thinks alike.:):P

Yes kids are kids but kids are also VERY curious and ask lots of question, I just think it wud b kinda awkward tryin to explin that to them, why they r differant

I think the main issue isn’t that they are different, but rather that others see them as being. Aside from having different skin tone and father/mother, they aren’t any different and there isn’t anything wrong with it.

Do you mean adopted kids that are of different races? Or having 2 kids with different guys, so they are of different races? In either case, I don’t see the problem. There will always be awkward situations when explaining things to a child (like why brother and sister are different etc). And yes, kids do ask a lot of questions, but they ask SO MANY other awkward questions that one more about race isn’t going to tip the load….

Why would it be awkward? Kids ask questions, you answer them. I know biracial siblings where one looks white and the other looks more biracial. Same parents. You can’t predict how kids are going to turn out. The sisters are close. It has never been an issue.

Why wouldn’t it be ok? If they ask why they’re not the same, explain why. And don’t forget to explain that there’s nothing wrong with being different.
