Is it ok to put a relaxer in a bi-racial child's hair, and if so, what age is appropriate?

No problem, my mother usually uses a brand called “Just For Me”. They specialize in hair products for Black and Bi-Racial (really anyone with thick, nappy hair) children. They also make products such as detangler sprays and texture softeners, just for children, so they’re safe to use.

My friend (also mixed) used the same relaxer. Seemed to work ok…

Relaxers could damage hair and in the future her hair will become really thin if u continue to use it often… It will be better for you to grease her hair often and comb it out…. When she is like 12 or so then she should choose if she wants to or not
